Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Swipechain is an automated DeFi strategy platform that helps users protect, optimize, and grow their on-chain portfolios using smart-contract-powered strategies. We are the data controller for the personal data you provide when you create an account and use our platform. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at support@swipechain.net.

2. What We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the platform:

• •Account data — email address, display name, and username. Collected when you sign up and used to identify your account and personalise your dashboard.
• •Wallet address — when you connect a wallet, your public address is visible to us (as it is to the entire blockchain). We store it only to display your balance and chain in the dashboard. We never have access to your private keys or seed phrase.
• •Strategy preferences — settings like protection thresholds and rebalancing frequency are stored in your browser (client-side state) and optionally in your profile record. This data is used solely to configure your automations.
• •Usage analytics — aggregated, anonymised usage data collected via Reown AppKit analytics (wallet connect events). No personally identifiable information is included.

3. What We Do Not Collect

Swipechain does not collect, store, or have access to your private keys, seed phrases, or wallet passwords — ever. We also do not custody your funds. Assets managed by Swipechain strategies remain in smart contracts that you authorise with your own on-chain signatures. You retain full control of your assets at all times.

4. On-Chain Data

When you execute a strategy — such as activating liquidation protection or depositing into the yield optimizer — that transaction is recorded permanently on the blockchain. Blockchain data is public by design and cannot be deleted. Swipechain has no ability to erase or alter on-chain records.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform, each bound by their own privacy policies:

• •Supabase — authentication and user profile storage.
• •Reown / WalletConnect — wallet connection modal and session management.
• •Upstash Redis — rate limiting and caching.
• •Resend — transactional emails (OTP codes, notifications).
• •Cloudinary — profile image hosting.

6. Cookies

We use a single session cookie set by wagmi (our wallet library) to hydrate wallet state on the server during page load. This cookie does not track you across sites and contains no personally identifiable information. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. How We Use Your Data

• •To authenticate your account and maintain your session.
• •To display your profile, wallet balance, and strategy status in the dashboard.
• •To send transactional emails (OTP codes, password resets). We do not send marketing emails without your opt-in.
• •To prevent abuse via rate limiting on authentication endpoints.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. On-chain transaction records cannot be deleted.

9. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law (including GDPR), you have the right to:

• •Access the personal data we hold about you.
• •Correct inaccurate data (you can update your name in your profile settings).
• •Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• •Data portability — receive a copy of your data in a structured format.
• •Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Swipechain after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
